What are these jig's used for?
These jig's are excellent used for a large group of fish that are caught all over the shores of the United States. We mostly test them in Florida and have caught a variety of fish with them.

What type of fish are they best for?
Many of our local Florida fishermen and Charter Captains use these Jig's for common fish such as Pompano, Tarpon, Spanish Mackerel, Red Fish, Black Drum, Snook, Blue Fish, Jacks, Whiting, Flounder and Grouper.

What is the best way to use these Jig's?
In shallow water you really need a lighter Jig so it will not sink as fast, typically you let it sink to the bottom and snap your wrist upward in a jigging motion to excite fish species, let it sink back down and repeat the motion.  For deeper waters and for long casting you really need to go with a heavier jig head, to sink faster and cast further.
What Color Jig should I be using?
Depending on water conditions, weather conditions and vegetation in the area you are fishing. There can also be a variety of colors specific to the location and type of fish you would like to catch.
Example: The color pink works extremely well in cloudy water and seems to attract Pompano, Mackerel, and Tarpon. On a clear day Red, White, Green and Yellow seem to attract the fast and furious Mackerel, Tarpon, Red Fish, Jacks and Grouper. So all and all there can be many variables and conditions you can really utilize or try in your area of fishing.

Personally at Everglades Jig Company when we go fishing we carry a little bit of everything.  The truth is where every you are  the Tides & Weather conditions constantly change  hour to hour, And we understand you will  always need a little variety so you are that person always catching fish.

Where are these Jig's typically used?

Everglades Jig's are sold to Fishermen  in these Regions.
